	.	Fact sheet - Downloads We strive to provide our prospective customers with the most appropriate and up to date information available, in order they can make the most informed decision for their air conditioning purchase. The fact sheets cover a range of issues we have found are of concern to our clients / or areas where requests for more detail have been made. We commenced the use of the fact sheets in 2007, there are a number of new fact sheets being prepared - updates will appear regularly. Rather than include all of this information in our quotation we have prepared a range of fact sheets on specific areas and topics of air conditioning design and application - customers are then able to choose the areas in which they need extended levels of information. At our quotation survey we will have printed copies of these fact sheet available on request - but as an additional resource you can choose to access the files yourself. 	.	Climate - The key to cost efficient operation.
		In the past few years more and more clients are requesting larger and larger systems - they have been scared into doing this by media reports of Global Warming - and the unforgettable discomfort of a few real extreme day in the past few summer seasons. We aren't getting into a Global Warming debate here, there's enough of that going on - this fact sheet examins our regional weather / how an air conditioning system capacity is rated / reviews climate data for Hunter Valley and Newcastle since the 60's / discusses why part load system operation is of much greater importance than choosing a unit to handle a 45 degree day. Did you know that in Cessnock from 1968 to 2004 the average number of days per year with day time temperature greater than 40 degrees C is 1.4 days !

This fact sheet covers details of the energy tariffs / differing meter styles / typical Actron Air costs per hour / How to get the most out of your system at the lowest possible operating cost - running smart. The Climate fact sheet is also a good reference for understanding how to get the most from your system. Note the energy tarrifs indicated here are as published by Energy Australia effective at 1.7.2007.
