A new direction for Fernair in 1994

An new direction for Fernair began in May 1994. The current owners Gary Oultram and Gary Collyer purchased the company which had been trading at that time for 25 years. Fernair was a long time, respected member of Carrier's exclusive dealer network. Whilst we maintain our alliance with Carrier, in recent years we have grown as Australia's leading country dealer with Actron Air.

And again in 2008 - Relocated to Annie Street Wickham

Our era in Hamilton has come to an end after more than 20 years at the Beaumont Street site we have moved on. We recently purchased and renovated our new Wickham building.

Our business is principally involved to design / sales and support for air conditioning systems in domestic applications. We are proud to have very long established installation arrangements with some of Australia's major builders along with some of the Hunter regions most respected companies.

Commercial Solutions - no problem

We also offer solutions in the commercial field providing sales, engineering and installation. A few of our recent commercial projects:

• Cadia Gold Mine Orange - 270kw to the processing plant switchroom
• Energy Australia - process cooling to substations
• Mid Coast Water Head Office Taree - Multiple Actron Air systems from 65kw to 12kw together with Innotech DDC control
• Newcastle Ports Corporation - service and refurbishment of process and comfort air conditioning to the many NPC sites in Newcastle
• Murrin Murrin mine Kalgoolie - prefabricated air conditioning system to serve the Hydrogen Plant control room.

The key to our success - Our staff

It goes without saying - our success has been due to a lot of hard work and dedication by a lot of people, we currently have 11 full time and 2 part time staff, they remain the backbone of our business. In addition we have several electrical subcontractors helping us out.

Our Expanding Service Area

In recent years we have expanded our business to serve the Mid North Coast and Tamworth Regions. And currently growing into the NSW South Coast and Western Sydney areas.

Fernair has been a long term member of the exclusive Carrier Dealer Network, we received the $4 million dollar sales award in 1998.

Number 1 Australian Country Dealer - Actron Air since 2001

We are proud to have gained the status as Actron's #1 Australian country dealer in 2001 again in 2002 - 2003 -2004 and 2005

High level appointment by Actron

In recognition for Fernair's sales performance / service support / and product  application we were awarded "Platinum Dealer" status in 2005.
