Service charges will increase significantly as improved processes with leak testing and evacuation tests will become mandatory on every single job, the cost of missing something is not an option.
The ECP is added at the import stage, these costs will be passed to the wholesalers / distributors then to us in the trade - we sell the gas to you and add GST ! Yep tax on top of tax.
As can be seen in the Govt Factsheet that's just in 2012-13 - the rate increases are already set through to 2015.
